By downloading, installing, or using the Smart Nurse app ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Smart Nurse is an educational and clinical reference tool. It provides drug calculators, dosing references, protocol guides, sedation and analgesia workflow assistants, care plan references, and similar clinical decision-support content.
The app does NOT replace professional clinical judgment, your hospital's official policies and protocols, or a physician's order. Every calculation, protocol step, and reference value in this app must be independently verified against your institution's current, approved policy and the treating physician's actual orders before being applied to any patient. Drug concentrations, dosing ranges, and protocol steps in this app are based on commonly used references and, where noted, on order sets provided by the app's developer — they are not a substitute for your facility's own pharmacy-verified protocols.
The app is intended for use by licensed and student healthcare professionals as a reference and learning aid. It must never be used as the sole basis for a clinical decision affecting patient care.
Smart Nurse, its developer, and any contributors accept no liability for clinical outcomes resulting from use of information in this app. Use of any clinical content in this app is entirely at your own professional discretion and risk.
Smart Nurse is intended for nurses, nursing students, and other healthcare professionals. You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use the app.
You may use most of the app anonymously. If you choose to create an account with an email and password, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to:
The app's design, original clinical content compilations, and software are the property of the app's developer. Where content is derived from named external references (e.g. published clinical scoring systems, hospital-provided order sets), those sources are cited within the relevant screens. This app does not claim ownership of the underlying published clinical scales or guidelines it references.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Clinical reference content may contain errors or become outdated; always cross-check against current authoritative sources.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Smart Nurse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any clinical, professional, or personal harm arising from use of, or inability to use, the app.
We may update the app's features and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may suspend or discontinue access to the app or your account if these Terms are violated.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app's developer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
Smart Nurse Pro is an optional monthly subscription that removes all advertisements from the app.
The subscription is priced at $4.99 USD per month. Prices may vary by country or region based on local currency and taxes.
Refund requests are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store according to their respective refund policies. We do not issue refunds directly.
